Aaj main tumhe batane wali hoon how I celebrated my birthday — aur trust me, iss baar meri bucket list ka ek bada tick lag gaya 💫

So, 22nd March ko tumhari yeh pyaari si writer ne apna birthday celebrate kiya 🎂

Honestly, I wasn’t even excited. Adulthood itna zor se hit kar raha tha ki har birthday mujhe shaadi ke ek step closer feel karwa raha tha 😭
Matlab reality mein mujhe pata hai ki tumhari yeh bhai jaldi shaadi nahi kar rahi, but still… pre-birthday emotional breakdown is now a tradition 🫠

The Midnight Surprise

Raat ko 12 baje, mere roomies ne mujhe ek cute sa handmade paper bouquet diya 🥹
And let me tell you — handmade gifts just hit different.
It wasn’t just a bouquet, it was love, effort, and “you matter to us” wrapped together 💖

Next morning, I went to my massi’s house… and BOOM 💥

My mum and bhai showed up to surprise me!

At that moment I was like —
“Okay God, I get it… I’m your favorite child” 😌✨

Phir hum gaye ISKCON — because no matter how grown up you get, bhagwan ji ko yaad rakhna is non-negotiable 🙏
Mum gifted me a beautiful chain with a bansuri and morpankh — and I swear, it was the prettiest thing ever 💙

And obviously… birthday = favorite food, so lunch was just perfect 😋

Evening mein, my friends took me to Balewadi.
And I had zero idea ki ho kya raha hai 😭

Then guess what…
They took me to a rooftop restaurant — something that had been on my bucket list for SO long ✨

I was literally like —
“YOU GUYS REMEMBERED THAT???” 🥺

The fact that they noticed small things I mentioned years ago and turned them into reality…
That moment? PURE WHOLESOME MAGIC 💫

The Gifts (aka Happiness Overload)

• A cute espresso diary ☕ (which I wanted since forever 😭)
• A pair of socks (because yes, I’m obsessed 🧦)
• And the most special one — a handmade blue & white flower bouquet 💙 made with 19 HOURS of effort

Like… excuse me?? Who does that??
That’s not a gift, that’s love in physical form 🥹

That entire evening, I felt like the main character of my own movie 🎬
My bestie made sure to capture every single happy moment — and honestly, I’ve never felt more seen, more loved, more… me 💖

We had dinner, did endless chit-chat, shared feelings…
And I realized something very important —

 I may have a small circle, but it’s solid gold.

These people?
They are not just friends.
They are my safe place, my second home 🏡

Thank you for celebrating me the way you did.
For remembering the little things.
For making me feel special without even trying.
